This project on behalf of the tenants was to refurbish the common parts of an eight-storey building, including replacing 96 front doors to flats, 15 sets of double fire doors across corridors and service riser doors, cupboard doors and external entrance doors. The project also included the replacement of flooring and redecoration of all lobbies, corridors, staircases and lift shaft.

All lighting will be replaced throughout using LED technology. We are to also construct a new external bin store and alter the external wall and fence to facilitate the movement of bins.

The main challenge of this project was to organise access to each flat to replace the doors and frames without inconveniencing the occupiers but also keeping the project moving forward. Things are going well to date and we anticipate successful completion in April 2018.

Endsleigh Court, Holborn, London. Reception Refurbishment 

This project was in 2 parts.

Replace 3no hardwood double door sets leading from the reception to the north, central and south sides of the building.

New hardwood fire protection doors were specially manufactured, fitted on site and French polished in suite.

Strip out the reception that over the years has been poorly maintained and was not in keeping with the Art deco style of the general building. The reception has been refitted with the input of an interior designer with all new finishes being more in keeping with the buildings character, with new radiator panels, reception desk, floor coverings, lighting and decorations.

There has been a very close attention to detail here, leaving a very special feel to the newly finished reception.

Deadlines and budget were not constraints on this project with quality and detail being required, GTCI have successfully achieved this for the client.
