Minster Primary School

This project involved working closely with the Local Authority, KCC. We have found building this new primary school extension a great opportunity within the great community of Minster, Isle of Sheppey. A whole lot of pride comes from the people who live on the island and especially near to Minster Primary School. A great deal of interest has already come from them to not only what we are building for them but how we complete the works.

The main Site Manager Jay, prides himself in completing projects under budget and on time. Keeping within the ethos of GTCI Ltd, Jay is another member of the family.

Each day he takes care to ensure that not only the inner part of the site is clean and tidy, but whenever necessary, he has his guys sweep up the main road to remove any dust or mud, especially as the island has attracted so much rain this winter.

Carefully working with the school when it comes to deliveries and manpower on site, keeping away from peak times when a large amount of traffic and children will be about. School starting day, finishing day and lunchtimes.

The project lost nearly two weeks with the heavy snow, frost and rain, however through careful negotiations and management, Jay has managed to bring it back on time and right on programme. No easy feat when so many trades and deliveries are needed.
