gtci BUILDING INTERIORS have been working in the commercial interior fit out and refurbishment industry for over 25 years on a huge variety of challenging projects.
Kitchen La Frenais Morgan. Shopping Centre Management. Head Office.Tenterden Street London W1.
GTCI carried out a complete fit out of approx 4000sq ft of newly refurbished 1st floor office space in the Regent Street area of London for this long term client who had traded from cramped Victorian offices in Grosvenor Street for some years.
The client required open office space for their day to day operations, a reception area, including lift lobby and glass main entrance doors, a boardroom and a fully operational kitchen as they have many functions that include entertaining their clients to dinner on the premises.
A multi media wall was provided in the board room to provide audio, visual and IT presentation facilities which can be operated remotely.
Storage wall solutions were also provided throughout, these were bought to life by applying the clients corporate logo to the doors.
A sublet area was also created which needed to have high standards of sound proofing. As it had shared walls with the new boardroom facility.
Additionally a private meeting room and file storage were provided on the ground floor. In the storage area a high intensity rolling filing system was installed to provide the maximum amount of file hanging storage as possible.
In this area room was built especially for bicycle storage including racks for upright storage, as many employees cycle to work. Along side this room a shower/ changing facility was installed.
New furniture and IT was installed just prior to the client moving in so that they could continue the day to day operations with no interruption during the move from their old premises to the new one.

Queenborough Community Centre (Old School Project)
Sheerness Kent
GTCI applied to tender for the internal fit out of a school that had been left derelict for over 20 years.
Requiring a new roof, damp proofing, an exterior brick clean and a total refurbishment inside to include drylining walls, rewiring, new lighting new heating systems and a complete redecoration including new floor finishes the brief was to create a new community activity centre for the local community.
The centre provides services for people of all diversities and age groups, from a newly constructed sound studio, day nursery, dance halls and art rooms as well as a tea room.
GTCI Building Interiors took on the challenge to provide these services on a very tight and restrictive budget. Time was also of the essence to meet the community centres obligations in opening for the new year to coincide with school term time for dance classes and so nursery services could be provided.
To bring the building up to 21st century regulations new toilets, a lift and fire proofing all had to be incorporated within the budget, all which GTCI met head on throughout the project.
Funded by Seeda, Homes and Communities Agency, Kent County Council, and the Tudor Trust the project was able to receive substantial additional funding upon completion due to there being no overspend and the project being handed over on time to ensure the centre will service the community for many years to come.
